IMAX LIVE Theaters Will Be Streaming Summer Game Fest & The Game Awards This Year
"We are building a next-generation global event."
If you wanted to attend a big event this year, you could finally scratch that itch at the nearest IMAX theater on June 9. Thanks to the Twitter announcement by showrunner Geoff Keighley, we now know that Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards are scheduled to stream in IMAX theaters across the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Keighley will be returning to host the Summer Game Fest to showcase a roster of world premiere game reveals, juicy trailers, and various updates from developers, publishers, and platforms. With an impressive list of early released games like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, we've experienced a solid first half of the year of industry-changing titles and will likely see more crop up out of the woodwork.
