Overwatch Celebrates “A Decade Of Heroes” During It’s 10th Anniversary
Participate in throwback modes and unlock rewards.

Yet another of Blizzard’s IPs has crossed the ten-year mark. Or, at least it will be in a little over a week. For a decade, players have been teaming up in the company’s free-to-play hero shooter, Overwatch.
With the anniversary date right around the corner, the dev team has announced its plans to mark the milestone with a three-week celebration. Each week, starting this week, players will be able to experience a different throwback mode. Week one (this week) features Classic (2016). Week two will be Mystery Showdown. And, week three will be Golden (2020). During the event, players will need to work together to complete challenges and unlock rewards.
Each week, players can earn five Anniversary Loot Boxes – each with 60 items and no duplicates – as well as milestone drops up to Legendary. Some of the items available to players are original roster-inspired skins, 22 exclusive cosmetics, and a Legendary 10-Years Cheers Tracer skin.
