Marvel Snap’s Battle Mode Goes Live Today And You Can Finally Challenge Friends
It’s time to challenge your friends to see who's the stronger player.
Battle Mode will finally arrive in MARVEL SNAP today. Get ready to challenge your friends in a fierce competition to see who is the best of the best. Players will battle against each other in multiple, high-stakes rounds. Each player will start with 10 health. The rules are simple: you win if you can deplete your opponent’s health to zero first. In Battle Mode, health is even more critical to remaining alive as every SNAP and Retreat takes on extra meaning.
Also, because a player’s deck will be locked for the duration of the Battle, players will be able to quickly learn what cards are in their opponent's deck and may be able to better prepare for sneakier attacks as they come. Players will need to keep this in mind and take advantage of cards that their opponent hasn't seen by using an extra SNAP.

Battle Mode will take around 20 minutes to finish with the added “High Stakes Rounds” which start on Round 5. These rounds start with the stakes at 2 Damage and will ensure the matches don’t take too long. The developers also wanted to reward players for early victories, therefore, players will not be able to deal more damage than they have Health remaining. This feature will allow players the ability to come from behind and steal a victory.
Finally, Battle Mode will always have a definite winner and loser as there are no ties in Battle Mode!
Players can start challenging their friends today in MARVEL SNAP.
