Netmarble Reveals New Trailer For Third-Person Co-Op Shooter Project Evilbane
The new trailer shows off the game’s combat.
During the Xbox Tokyo Game Show Broadcast, Netmarble dropped a trailer for a new co-op shooter currently in development at Netmarble Monster. Project EVILBANE is a third-person shooter developed using Unreal Engine 5. It allows players to swap between melee and ranged weapons on the fly, allowing for more diversity in combat.
Today’s trailer highlights this feature, as well as things like co-op boss battles. It also offers a peek at what are being called “Heavenstone” skills, which can be used to turn the tide of battle. Players should notice how timing, positioning, and counters play into surviving battles.
Pre-alpha testing is already underway for Project EVILBANE for players who are members of the Xbox Insider Program. Currently, the test is available in North America, Brazil, the UK, Germany, and France. Those wanting to stay updated on the game can wishlist it on Xbox and Steam now. More details will be available in the coming months.
