Just In Time For Spooky Season Zenless Zone Zero’s Next Update Introduces The Rest Of Spook Shack

Earlier today, HoYoverse hosted a Zenless Zone Zero Special Program offering players insight into the Version 2.3 update. The new update is slated to drop in the action RPG on October 15 and will bring its own spooky charm to the game with the introduction of two new playable Spook Shack characters (technically three, but we all already know Manato). In addition to our faithful ally, the other Spook Shack agents consist of the Ether Support Agent, Lucia, who has dreamlike abilities and an affinity for Ethereals, and the Ice Rupture Agent Yidhari, who’s either a squid or octopus thiren.

With us having dealt with the Miasma in the Hollow during the last Version, the Hollow has been shrinking, and a previously inaccessible area is now available to explore. That also means it’s open to individuals less skilled in fighting, like the local miners, which creates a new set of problems as they seem to be disappearing.

It probably shouldn’t be too surprising since this area, known as Timesworn Hills, is filled with abandoned research facilities and testing areas. Add to that the scary stories of phantom bells, terrifying creatures, and more, and it’s the perfect case for the Spook Shack gang. Good thing they seem to be having some sort of get-together.

Of course, the new update comes with new events. Some will even earn players new outfits for some of the characters – Specifically Manato and Vivian. Manato’s outfit will be earned simply by completing the story. Vivian’s is part of an event that will also offer rewards in the form of consumables and currency, as well as new accessories for Bell and Wise. One event will even reward players with the Agent Manato. As for Vivan, if you don’t already have her, she’ll be available on the second banner.
