New PvP-Focused ARPG Gods, Death, & Reapers Enters Global Closed Alpha
Explore an underworld abandoned by the gods in the “dark fantasy ExtrAction RPG”.
A new alpha test is underway today for Wolcen Studio’s upcoming dark fantasy game, Gods, Death, & Reapers. Set in an underworld filled with mythological realms, the free-to-play action RPG casts players in the role of a Reaper. Described as an “ExtrAction RPG” the game has a focus on PvP. That said, this new test introduces an offline story mode for those who’d rather explore at their own pace.
The new test update includes several additions and changes inspired by player feedback, including a new Norse-inspired map and a new faction to go with it – the Unworthy. These are oathbreakers who roam Helheim’s shores. The test also introduces new weapon abilities and a reworked version of The Pit, the tutorial used to introduce players to the game. The devs have also implemented updates to the Sanctuary that streamlines crafting and resource management, and have added to character creation, offering players more options. Players can also check out the new global leaderboards and emotes.
The test runs until 12 PM EST on November 26. Those interested can request access via the Steam page.
