New Shared World Crafting Survival RPG Nightingale Launches Into PC Early Access Today
Step into your own procedurally generated Victorian-era fantasy magical world.
Nightingale, a new shared world crafting survival RPG by Inflexion Games, finally launches into Early Access on PC today.
The game blends Victorian-era fantasy and magical realms inhabited by humans and a mysterious species known as the Fae. In a pandemic-stricken world, players must navigate through a strange world and return to their city — Nightingale. But first, they must learn basic survival mechanics in a lush forest, where players will gather resources and establish their base camp.
One of Nightingale's unique features is Realm Cards. Combine these to generate portals to new dimensions, altering elements such as biome, weather, and resources. Levels are procedurally generated, so every playthrough is different. And each biome presents its own challenges, including environmental hazards and diverse enemies.
The game offers a deep progression system as well, with perks and minor cards that allow players to customize their abilities. There’s also cooperative multiplayer.
