Palia’s Spiritfest Spectacle Update Arrives October 7
Slime pets, spooky festivities, and ranch visits ahead of Halloween.

Palia’s next major update, “Fall Fantasy: The Spiritfest Spectacle,” is set to arrive on October 7, bringing a seasonal mix of festive cheer and new features to the social MMO.
As the name suggests, the Spiritfest Spectacle is a celebration of Halloween. Players can expect to see glowing candles illuminating the night, bowls of candy brimming with treats, and a variety of spooky surprises hidden across the world. The event aims to capture both the charm and mystery of the holiday, blending Palia’s whimsical tone with a festive, slightly haunting atmosphere.
One of the biggest highlights of Patch 0.196 is the introduction of a brand-new ranch critter: Goobi, a friendly slime companion. Unlike the expected sheep or other traditional barn animals, Goobi brings a quirky twist, fitting perfectly with the holiday’s playful theme.
The patch also expands Palia’s systems and social features. Players will now be able to experiment with new fishing lures, which add variety to one of the game’s most popular pastimes. Exploration fans will gain access to the Hollow Grove, a new landscape that enriches the world with more to discover. Additionally, for the first time ever, players will be able to invite friends to visit their ranches, adding a stronger community element to the game.
