Pax Dei Will Launch Into Early Access On June 18th And You Can Buy Your Way In Now
Founder's Packs start at about $43 USD.
Pax Dei, the upcoming sandbox MMORPG from Mainframe Industries, has had a few rounds of testing so far and those tests have been generally well received. The next big step, though, is to get a large number of players in to allow the MMO to focus on mass social features like communications and the game's markets.
Like most sandbox MMOs, Pax Dei depends on a player-driven economy. To nail those aspects of the title down, though, you actually need players. Hence, it's time for early access.
🔥The time has come: Pax Dei will enter Early Access on June 18th. 🔥

Kicking off on June 18th, a rather crowded time in MMOs right now, Pax Dei's early access will allow anyone who purchases a Founder's Pack into the game. Founder's Packs start at about $43 USD and the higher valued packages add additional character slots, more plots of land, and a few exclusive recipes that allow you to craft decorative items for your creations. I'm not exactly sure if having more characters or plots allows for a bit of an advantage for players or not, yet, we'll have to see.
In the announcement video for early access, the Pax Dei team reviews what next steps will be taken and thanks the players who have tested the MMO so far. They seem inspired by the feedback received so far and are depending on more of it to see the game through to launch.
Interestingly, we still don't quite know the exact monetization plans for Pax Dei, so hopefully that'll also be revealed soon.
