World Of Tanks Announces Community-Driven WARRIORS Tournament
Players compete as a different warrior each week in head-to-head showdowns.

On May 12, Wargaming will be hosting a new tournament event in World of Tanks Modern Armor. The WARRIORS event is a new community-driven tournament in which players of the free-to-play war shooter choose to follow one of four champions. Each week, every player will represent a new warrior in head-to-head matches until only the winner is left standing. As players battle, they’ll be able to boost their champions and contribute to the larger war. The warrior with the most Honor will make it into the Battle Bracket.
During the event, four new premium tanks will be introduced. Each represents one of the event’s champions: Georg von Frundsburg, Meng Tian, Marcus Claudius Marcellus, and Minamoto no Yoshiie. The tanks are the heavily armored juggernaut Reiter, an Escalation era medium named Hatamoto, the tier VIII tank destroyer Ruishi, and a tier IX Heavy Tank: Praetor. Players can also pick up 2D Commanders for each of the warriors, as well as the new 3D Germanic Knight Commander.
