Ring Of Elysium's November Update Introduces Adventurer Pass Season 1
Tencent games released a new update for its frosty battle royale Ring of Elysium yesterday, introducing the first season of the Adventurer Pass. During this 8-week event, players will be able to acquire special in-game rewards simply by playing and leveling through season-specific tiers. Each tier will unlock new rewards, including special playable characters, gliders, snowboard skins, outfits, and more.
Players will also earn exclusive rewards just for signing up for the Adventurer Pass, including three new Icon characters -- each with its own weekly challenges.
Unfortunately, the update didn't get off to the best start yesterday. According to a post on the Ring of Elysium Steam page the team failed to test some of the changes included in the update, resulting in issues with animation and the inventory UI.
The team has already fixed the UI issue, and have created a special glider as an apology.
