Shroud Of The Avatar Release 69 Adds New Despair Dungeon And Brings Back The Comet
Tomorrow, August 29, Shroud of the Avatar's 69th update will hit servers. When it arrives, it will introduce several new bits of story content, including a new dungeon, the return of the comet, and some NPC dialog options.
The new dungeon, Despair, is a dark dungeon filled with an odd mix of creatures -- spiders, polar bears, and dragons. There are even new varieties of said bears and dragons.
As for the comet, its return brings with it some side effects that impact the creatures in the area -- making them more dangerous. Aether creatures have returned and players will find themselves up against aether corpions, aether dragons, and more. Basically, things are about to get crazy.
As noted, the update arrives tomorrow. As is usual for one of these updates, the Portalarium devs have provided some instructions on how to go about obtaining the update and making sure everything is set up correctly.
