Square Enix Details The Changes Coming To HQ Items In 6.0
Here’s to more free bag space!
As promised, Square Enix has finally published a post detailing what players can expect from the HQ item adjustments. These adjustments are intended to help with the whole inventory bloat thing and mostly consist of eliminating the HQ option for specific items. There will be four different categories included in these changes:
- Items gathered via botany, mining, and fishing – each of these jobs will be adjusted accordingly
- Materials dropped by enemies
- Materials obtained via tombstone and scrip exchange
- Non-craftable materials obtained from certain content
Crafted items are not part of this list
If players still have HQ items of other types in their inventory, they will get to keep them. However, they’ll only be HQ in name and won’t have any impact on crafting quality, leve bonuses, or the like. They also can’t be traded or sold via the market board.
