Dead By Daylight’s New Witchy Character Comes With 90% Healing Boon
No Med-Kits needed.
A new character, the witch Mikaela Reid, has joined the ranks of the hunted in Dead by Daylight. Said to bring “light and life to a realm of darkness and death,” Reid is able to make use of the Boon: Circle of Healing which allows her to bless a Dull or Hex Totem, turning it into a Boon Totem. This totem offers a 90% healing speed bonus to anyone within 28 meters of it. No Med-Kit is required in the process.
Some comments on Twitter have already suggested that this ability is just the tiniest bit overpowered, particularly because Reid can bless as many totems as she likes, as long as they’re there. That said when a new totem is blessed, the blessing on the previous one goes away. So, there won’t be any cases of the entire field being littered with Boon Totems offering a massive healing boost. And, obviously, it won’t do the other players any good to bless totems that are too far away from them.
