Stormhaven’s Sandbox MMO Embers Adrift Making A Closed Beta Appearance In March
Players who really want to can purchase access for $50.
In just a month, Stormhaven will be shifting its upcoming sandbox MMO Embers Adrift from closed alpha to closed beta testing. At that time, they’re going to drop the NDA and allow content creators to stream. They’ll also be extending the amount of time players can access the game. On March 1, players will be able to log in and play on the weekends from 12:00 pm Central on Fridays to 11:59 pm Central on Sundays.
Those who would like access to the game’s closed beta period can easily gain access, provided they have $50 to spare. Don’t worry, you won’t just get access. There will be additional rewards – specifically a title, 30 days of game time, an Ember-Inlaid sword item, and a day of early access to the live game. That said, if you’re really going to drop $50, you may want to do it before March 1. Doing so will get you everything listed above as well as access to the rest of the closed alpha period and a second title.
As this is still a closed beta test, the developers will be hosting a server stress test aptly titled the “World-Breaker event”. Players interested in participating can sign up on the game’s site to be added to the list of potential participants or you will be able to once they have the signup page available. If you’ve purchased one of the packs listed above, there’s no need to worry about signing up. Just be sure to log in during the event to receive the “World-Breaker” title.
