Stranger Things Is Coming To Smite... Because, Why Not?

I suppose if any current TV IP has some godlike characters in it, Stranger Things would be one of them. Creatures like the Demogorgon and the Mind Flayer likely count, and Eleven is pretty godlike herself. (Apparently Hopper is, too?).

Well, whether you think of them as god material or not, they're going to be skins in the next Smite Battle Pass. Titan Forge Games has teamed up with Netflix to bring the streaming service's popular franchise to the game.

The official trailer for the crossover (first teased yesterday on Smite's Twitter account) was revealed today during the Summer Game Fest. It not only shows off several new skins, but an Upside Down map as well. An official post isn't up on the Smite site about the full battle pass, but we do know that the skins are as follows:

  • The Demogorgon Bakasura
  • Eleven Scylla
  • Starcourt Eleven Scylla
  • The Mind Flayer Sylvanus
  • Hopper Apollo
  • Hopper, P.I. Apollo

You can see them all in the trailer below.

These concoctions of everything games hopefully won't hurt those dedicated to theme game development. The very reason why games are played. Currently the overkill approach of throw what ever you can throw in next is getting worn out, and really, I don't think it works out the best for game development as its all unoriginal.
These game devs of everything games development are shouting out..."what have got" let me have it i need to throw in it the game! we need more UPDATES!.
This above is all so unoriginal its gotten to0 craZy in my opinion.
I do not think its good for gaming as Originality beats copy and paste.
Look at Valheim its original and brilliant. its ONLY MODS that can deconstruct the game and add whatever shit to the game, The way it has been and still should be!
Devs should get on to next game instead running a shit circus's for cheap cash grabs.
