Fallout 76 The Pitt

For the first time since the game’s launch, Fallout 76 players can leave Appalachia and explore some of the wider wasteland. The Expeditions: The Pitt update takes players to post-war Pittsburgh. For fans of the Fallout series, this may offer up some nostalgia feels as the last time we visited there was in Fallout 3. As with any new area, there will be new things to discover. This includes new story content and new factions to deal with. In this case, there are two warring factions; the Union and the Fanatics. Players can join the Union, a group of freedom fighters, to help them fight the mechanically inclined Fanatics.

The update also introduces a new feature called “Expeditions” – hence the name. These are large-scale repeatable missions intended for small groups of players. The maximum being four. This probably means the missions can be attempted by single players, but we’d imagine you really don’t want to attempt that as the missions are intended to test even the most experienced players.

And, it wouldn’t be an update without new rewards and new enemies to fight. Try your hand at defeating the Trogs that plague The Pitt. Take on the Expeditions and earn a new currency called Stamps that will allow you to purchase items from the Union. Walk away with new weapons, Power Armor, and more.
