Throne And Liberty Could Be Delayed To Avoid Overlap With Diablo 4
Analyst says a short delay could be the best thing for Throne and Liberty.
Daol Investment & Securities researcher Kim Ha-Jeong seems to believe that not only would a short delay be good for Throne and Liberty, but it's also a move that's on the table for NCSoft according to Insight Korea.
It is his belief that while delaying Throne and Liberty will be a small hit to the short-term stock price, a delay would mean bigger sales for the game overall and more players.
"Blizzard Entertainment's new 'Diablo 4' is not an MMORPG, but the previous 'Diablo 3' and the MMORPG 'World of Warcraft' showed self-cannibalization," Kim Ha-Jeong said (translated by Google), "and even if the game quality was insufficient, it attracted many users in January and February. It is a masterpiece game to be played, and TL wants to absorb Western MMORPG users, so if the release date overlaps with 'Diablo 4', the initial marketing effect may not be fully enjoyed.”
Kim Ha-Jeong also said that he expects around 1 million initial players on Steam upon Throne and Liberty's release.

I am not looking forward "D$" <--------------------deliberate
To me the devs at Blizzard lost all faith in Diablo for wow all those years ago.
Diablo players were left in the dark to keep pleading "why" for years and years.
The disbelief among fans of game Diablo was, "they made the money from game" but, disbanded it for another never did Blizzard listen to fans.
Which is in par with Blizzard ignorance today of it fan base today..
Diablo was there money horse to start Blizzard on their track and now they are messing the whole game up and may as well go down and follow fortnites path of chaos.
I have lost faith in Blizzard's control of Diablo franchise.
So....
TO ANY DEVS! DO NOT DELAY YOUR LAUNCH.!
D$ sucks.
Only delay your game if you think your game is not operating as it should.
lol
