Universal Monsters Online Beta Sign-Ups!

Bigpoint announced that Universal Monsters Online has entered closed beta, and is now accepting player registrations to access the game before its global open beta launch. Universal Monsters Online is a browser based, free-to-play MOBA game that brings together Universal’s iconic monsters into one competitive experience.

During the closed beta, players will be whisked into character selection mode where they can choose from a diabolical lineup of legendary monsters – Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Wolf Man, and Frankenstein’s monster among many others. Full-team cooperation will be demanded to survive, succeed, and defeat the town’s chaotic villagers, zombies, and seemingly indestructible turrets.

Guys, I tried it and please... THIS IS A PURE JOKE.

- A game, when everyone is ready and it is "loading" = it takes a good 5 to 10 minutes to load (okay this is CBT, lets say we can put this on the side)

- There is no item shop

- The interface is horrible (TRULY TRULY, OUTRAGEOUS)

- Champion skills (design was purely easy) are simple, uninteresting and UUUHRGHH *vomits*

- Computer that can run Crysis 2 - Medium Settings @ 40 fps CANNO'T EVEN MANAGE to play this game, full screen - low quality - same rez (okay this is beta but STILL)

I am sure that the second they announce the beta keys to this game, everyone of you lame excuses for maggots are going to come running and get one for your sorry asses and then post it 2 posts below that you are giving it because you "kinda feel like skipping this one" just stop going apeshit for everything that is posted here kiddos. Moba is a great genre and needs all the support it can get. Its a relative new genre, and people are experimenting with it. Instead of going harsh retarded mode, why dont you give your overwhelming verrbal diarea you call opinión and try to improve the game. Which anyways is your job for being on a CBT

Woah! Looks like it's one of those closed beta's you can just sign up and join again lol. You literaly just make an account and it takes you straight to the game and launches o_0.

Or it is a WoW clone, a DotA clone or a CS clone, done.Every 100 clones, 3 have something different.And maybe 1 have a good cash shop with no pay to win.

Dammit i quit free 2 play market, the only thing i will play is Aion, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and LoL.Aion and LoL are the best games i found so far for free, iam looking for Firefall, but i think i will never try another free korean mmo in my life.Iam done with this crap, clones everywere, pay2win, lots of greed,crap comunity...

I'm not as mad that it's another MOBA. Hell if there can be billions of reskin excuses for MMORPGs, there sure as hell can be MOBAs. But making a MOBA on a browser is just a terrible idea. The best internet connection will still have latency, and you DON'T want to lag in a MOBA. The terrible community will peel your skin of for every mistake you make, the last you need is for it to lag. To the 7 people that will play this game, I say have fun, I'll stick to Dota 2

This genre was fine when it was just HoN, LoL and DotA. Everything else nowadays are just a result of people trying to imitate their success. Same thing they did with WoW. When will developers realize the key to making a good game is to make it UNIQUE as opposed to almost exactly something already out there?

A competitive game and a browser are a bad mix you know, StarcraftII, DotaII, Hon, Lol, are made with their own client, the big picture here is that, as a browser game, u cant use right click, it just shows a menu of a java setting or something, and as a browser it has a processing limit, as compare to a stand alone client that uses the resources of the computer
