Warframe has turned 4 years old and to celebrate Digital Extremes announced a new update for its free-to-play co-op game. "Octavia's Anthem" is a lore-driven musical update in which players search for the Octavia Warframe.

The update introduces a musical instrument that allows players to compose songs and synchronize them to their weapons. Players can even work together to create songs and trade them.

Key features of the update include:

  • NEW WARFRAME: Force your foes to face the music with Lotus' newest warrior, Octavia. Octavia's abilities are powered by the Mandachord, a formidable tool used to mix Melody, Bass, and Percussion into a harmony of destruction. Create cooperatively devised songs with friends in dojos, or download other Tenno-created songs and re-experience Octavia from a different perspective.
  • NEW CAPTURA FEATURE: Don your best Fashion Frame, then capture and edit the ultimate image with a variety of filters, graphics and editing tools.
  • NEW QUEST: The Octavia's Anthem Quest will have you drawn into the Relay by the vast consciousness Cephalon Suda, whose strange, disoriented behavior warrants investigation. Find out what happened to Cephalon Suda before it's too late and the knowledge she has collected is destroyed. Beware, Tenno, as darkness lingers.
  • NEW WEAPONS: Wield two new weapons designed to work in synch with the Octavia Warframe.

Looking back on 4 years in game, Digital Extremes also released, of course, an infographic detailing a number of milestones throughout the game's history. Perhaps even more interesting to players will be the freebies DE is giving away in celebration as well! On Tuesday March 28th, players will receive a free Dex Nouchali Syandana in their Landing Craft Inbox, while the Dex Sybaris, Dex Dakra, and Dex Furis -- previous Warframe anniversary gifts -- are available to earn in Alerts from Friday, March 24 to Monday, March 27.

Check out the update information, and a slick tease of the first few cells of the new web comic, here.

Amazing u20 is on ! Didint expect because last few updates was coming so slow , they hired more staff then, Great job and game with new ideas always in.
No mature comments for game publishers / devs who scam ppl with fake information, fake undone bugged full of bots gold sellers fake free to play games with locked content and characters, dnt fkn lie to ppl.Warhammer onlien is another fake f2p game with locked content and pay to win stuff. Game is very boring even for free, dont waste time to download it, candidate to be down soon.

Great game but nothing to do for endgamers, and i not believe there will be next update soon, only after tennocon i think(because they should show something new there and after they release u 20) , around 5 months, i not count small updates like few new weapons or new frame or event, time to start something else till then.
