For some MMORPG fans, saying that name may be enough to get them to try a new game. If you don't know that name, maybe saying "that's the creator of Runescape" would pick up the remaining curious players.

Brighter Shores has been a project of Gower's and Fen Research LTD for about the last decade. While Brighter Shores may have a similar style with an isometric camera and a somewhat less ambitious graphic design, don't mistake that for a lack of depth.

You're a new recruit in the Hopeport town guard and you'd like to make a name for yourself. You're going to need to learn the ropes of magic pretty quickly to become either a Cryoknight, Guardian or Hammermage, and you'll need to start mastering a huge number of professions.

While Brighter Shores is free-to-play, you will need to consider a premium pass if you want access to all the episodes the game offers.
