About Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves is a story-driven, open-world action RPG with lots of freedom to explore. Players take on the role of Rover, who wakes up in a world that’s starting over after a disaster. Alongside a group of powerful characters called Resonators, players go on a journey to find lost memories and help shape the world’s future.

After the event called the Lament, the world became quiet and broken. But now, life is returning. As Rover, players begin a new adventure filled with mystery, battles, and choices that matter. Along the way, they’ll meet allies, fight enemies, and uncover hidden truths about the past and what comes next.

Exploring the world feels smooth and open. Players can fly, grapple, and wall-dash across the map without using much stamina. Combat is fast and easy to pick up, with dodge moves, counterattacks, Echo Skills, and quick-timed events that keep battles exciting. Resonators each have their own special powers and personalities, and they’ll fight alongside the player as a team. Players can also collect Echoes — powers from defeated enemies — to use in battle and gain an edge.
