Ive been around eq2 sence the second expansion about 4-5 years ago...the two highest settings more pertain to your skill animations then anything else if i remember...leveling is easy but you want to rank your AA more then that especially at the start...this generally customizes your class...
Yes it is especially PvE till endgame...
They made the game VERY simple as to what it used to be.
The shiny thing is called 'shiney!!!'...literally...they're collectables and can be extremely valuable...
I preferred this game above all others for a long time...it used to be almost all people over 20...very polite community...i couldn't find any game even comparative to it...still cant community wise...your top 10 MMO list...zilch. as for quests there's enough that you probably would never complete even half...
As for your WoW comment...eq2 and wow came out at almost exactly the same time...wow just a bit faster...in the end eq2 was overshadowed...originally it also was not 'wowesk' in the least...but someone up top came with the brilliant idea 'lets make it look more like wow to attract people' and birthed a not as good graphics as it had and much more cartoony. D:
last thing...housing...BEST THING EVER XD
