Everything's Sunny Side Up As Trove's Sunrise Update Preps For A New Class On June 28

Trove’s next update revolves around the sun. On June 28, the “Sunrise” update will launch, bringing with it the new Solarion class, a new biome, new ultimate bosses in 5-star dungeons, and more.

The Solarion class is a servant of the Sun Goddess charged with smiting her enemies using a bow and a pet phoenix. The combination of the two allows for both long-range and melee damage while also allowing the Solarion to maintain their distance at all times, as the phoenix does all the up-close work. The Solarion also features sun-themed abilities like Solar Flare and Guiding light. The former is an explosive shot that damages enemies over time while the latter summons pillars that both damage enemies and heal allies.

The update also includes a new biome, the Sundered Uplands. Players that reach Uber-1 Adventure Worlds will be able to explore the biome’s upper and lower levels but the majority of it is accessible to Uber-7 Adventure Worlds. The biome features some new mechanics. Players will have to deal with limitations, such as Flight Suppression as well as whatever exists in the Ashen Wastes.
