ARK: Survival Evolved Joins The Stadia Lineup
DLC and cross-play, too!
Studio Wildcard’s dino survival game ARK: Survival Evolved made the jump to Google’s Stadia platform today. This means that for the most part, players can now play the game anywhere, regardless of the platform they choose to play on.
To play the game on Stadia, players will either need to be subscribed or purchase it directly from the store. It’s worth noting that games purchased to play via Stadia do suffer from limitations that may make it less appealing to play than if you’re subscribed to the platform. Go figure…
Another thing to note is that the free version available to subbed players does not include the DLC. That’s not to say it’s not available on Stadia. In fact, they have everything through the game’s latest expansion Genesis: Part 2. Players will just have to purchase DLC separately – for about $60 in total.
Oh, yes. Cross-play is available. So you don’t have to worry about not being able to play with your friends on PC.
