ARK: Survival Ascended Just Got Two Major Updates, Including An Aberration Reimagining
A reimagined Aberration map and the continuation of Bob’s Tall Tales are now available.
Two new updates dropped in ARK: Survival Ascended today. The first is a reimagining of the survival game’s most popular map, Aberration, which is available free to all players. The updated map introduces a derelict ARK with an underground biome. Players will need to watch out for new hazards and creatures – including the community-voted creature, Yi Ling – in this one.
The other update is Bob’s Tall Tales – Steampunk Ascent. This is a new chapter of Bob’s journey, narrated by Karl Urban. It will introduce new mechanics to the game, such as airships. Players will also have a new robot assistant, SIR-5RM8, voiced by Alan Tudyk.
The updates also introduce more than 50 new items and 30 new Engrams for crafting purposes.
