Apparently, 67,000 people can be wrong.
Free-to-play MMORPG The Aurora World by GBE Games shut down last week, on Nov. 24, and the game’s site is no longer active. The announcement went up three weeks ago on its Facebook page, which still has a not-bad 67,859 Likes as of this writing, and reads in part:
“The game showed a lot of promise during its inception, and we have had a lot of fun pushing the game to its peak. But overtime it has been unable to maintain a large enough audience to create a reasonable and enjoyable environment for all players.”
Spunkify did a First Look of The Aurora World, which you can see above. I’ll admit to not knowing much about it, but it seemed to have nice visuals, to go along with three-faction PvP and a rather intricate skill system. Maybe it wasn’t stunningly innovative, but I’ve seen worse games survive and thrive.
Did you check it out, and if so, what did you think?
This game is great and cool good graphics but many gold scammer coming in the game site please fix this and do some move to keep the game alive THE AURORA WORLD is my favorite game after all keep the security of the game so no more gold scammer coming in the game site many players having a load money in there account to upgrade to be strong and buy some item in the game im a long player of this game and im not playing 2 years from now so im come back to visite the game but the site is close please fix and more upgrade so many players go back in the game FROM THE GUILD OF BRAZUCAS
Took it long enough, the game had nothing to offer. When it was brand new, I really gave it a try, but no matter how much you try to like it, it’s just so bad.
Developers. LEARN YOUR LESSON! DONT FOCUS ON FORCED PVP, pve players keep MMOs alive.
heroes of the obelisk got shutdown also game haved solid population
but gbe games company got shutdown so they bring down that game too
Hero of the Obelisk is still around they are re-developing the game right now.
I didn’t even know the game existed.
Played this for 10 minutes when it released then uninstalled.
Another typical korean game down the drain. Such a shame.
It’s actually chinese, you can see different patterns in their games.
Chinese go for a Oriental WoW clone, Koreans go for Western Hack’n’Slash action and Japanese go for Anime action.
