SMITE 2 First Alpha Weekend

The very first opportunity to check out SMITE 2 is here.

Titan Forge Games has launched the first Alpha Weekend event for the sequel to SMITE, starting today and running until May 5. This initial phase grants access to selected players who signed up for the alpha test, as well as purchasers of the Founder’s Edition. During this weekend, participants can choose from a roster of 14 Gods — including Anubis, Athena, Loki, and Zeus.

The developers aim to gather player feedback and refine the MOBA based on community input. They encourage players to contribute their thoughts through the official Discord server and social media channels. To help players prepare for the battleground, Titan Forge Games have provided training resources such as tips for mastering the revamped Conquest mode and a detailed overview of what to expect during the Alpha playtest.

Alpha Weekend events will continue monthly until SMITE 2 progresses to its 24/7 closed beta phase later in the summer. For players interested in joining the playtest, invitations will be distributed regularly throughout the testing period. Those eager for guaranteed access can purchase Founder’s Edition bundles on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store.

Players can express interest in participating via the SMITE 2 Steam page or the official website.
