You Can Finally Challenge Friends In MTG Arena Nov. 15
A few weeks ago, Wizards of the Coast promised that "Direct Challenge" -- a.k.a. the ability to challenge friends -- would be coming to Magic: The Gathering Arena in November. It's now November and ... hey, they were right!
The news was announced via a tweet featuring Game Director Chris Clay, who quite literally shouted the news from a rooftop:
Almost two weeks ago, Game Director Chris Clay made a promise. pic.twitter.com/ua3EZcMWyk

So there you have it: Direct Challenge will be added to the game on Nov. 15. But don't overlook Clay's opening line from the video: "Always be careful what you promise in a forum post." That's damn good advice.
