CCG Chroma: Bloom And Blight Won't Sell You Cards
If the thing keeping you from playing online card games is the whole "having to buy card packs" deal, we may have found your answer. Chroma: Bloom and Blight is a competitive card game from developer Clarity Games. For the most part, it looks like what you'd expect from a CCG, with one difference: players don't need to buy card packs because all the cards are available for free. All the game modes are as well.
Rather than selling players what they need to play the game, Clarity has decided to offer players cosmetics. This includes alternative card art, new boards, emotes, and more. Of course, there's also a battle-pass. But unlike a lot of games with battle-passes, every reward on it is cosmetic.
As for the rest of the game, Chroma offers players what they'd expect from CCGs, plenty of heroes, a selection of factions, story, and progression. It's only been out on Steam about a day, but the reviews are pretty positive so far. So it is worth a look.
