Conqueror's Blade Adding Unit Mastery And Sunsetting Promotions
Level up your units in Conqueror's Blade.
With over 100 units released to date, some end up collecting dust in the barracks based on the current meta. Conqueror's Blade is looking to knock that dust off with an update coming in June that adds Unit Mastery to the game.
A Unit's Mastery gradually unlocks as you level it up, enabling you to increase its attributes and alter its skills or mechanics. This system will bring new possibilities for all Units. The mastery screen looks like the feature image above, and the masteries unlock in stages based on level.
Initially, Mastery will be available for 2-Star, 3-Star, and 4-Star units, with Mastery for around five units added each month. Alongside this addition, they are raising the level cap of 2-Star and 3-Star Units in the Unit Tree and Season Challenges to level 18, and that of 4-Star Units to level 24.
Meanwhile, Promotions are going the way of the dodo, as they have proven too difficult to understand and don't feel great overall in the context of the strategy game. You will now be able to create these units directly without relying on the base unit. If you're planning on promoting one of these Promoted units, they advise doing so before the June update.
You can read the full update over on the Conqueror's Blade Steam news page.
