Cybernetic, Sharp-Shooting Bounty Hunter Signal Joins Hyper Universe
A new Early Access update for Hyper Universe was rolled out by Nexon today, adding some new content and additional regional support. The biggest bits of new content come in the form of a new Hyper by the name of Signal and a new event map -- Fortress of the Guardians.
A cybernetic Hyper, Signal possesses sharpshooting skills that allow him to inflict damage on his foes without getting close enough to be in real danger himself. In fact, one of his enhancements is a target scan ability that makes it extremely hard for the enemy to hide from him. Signal is available to purchace in-game for 15,000 GP -- earned in game via playing matches or completing the tutorial.
The new event map is a point-capture map. Players team up and attempt to capture shrines throughout the map. Those with the most shrines at the end of the match will earn points. A total of 100 points is needed to complete the round. The map is available until October 4.
Speaking of October 4, players also have the opportunity to earn double the amount of Hyper cubes until that date. More information on this and other details about the update can be found on the Hyper Universe site.
