Warframe’s Voruna Prime Is So Creepy She Got Her Own Red Band Trailer

This weekend was a busy one for Digital Extremes. The company attended PAX East and showed off new content for both Warframe and Soulframe. A big headline for Warframe was the reveal of the Voruna Prime trailer, which is now marked with an NSFW “Blood & Gore” content warning on YouTube. The Voruna Prime variant puts the Wolven Queen on all fours, turning her into the free-to-play shooter’s first quadrupedal Warframe. She uses her fangs to inflict status effects, uses a long-range pounce to bring down foes, and can summon Lycath to aid her in combat. Although she’s not doing everything with teeth and claws. She has her own signature Perigale Prime rifle, Sarofang Prime axe, and various accessories. The new Warframe drops on April 8.

During their time at PAX, DE also showed off new cosmetic skins for Dante and Baruuk. These will arrive in the game’s Untitled Summer Update. An Heirloom cosmetic skin is also planned for Mesa later this year.
