Deathverse: Let It Die Debuts The Manic Yeti Cryptid, Weapon Variants, And Two Of Their Largest Units Yet
Today's update marks Phase Three of Deathverse's Season 1.
Following Deathverse: Let It Die's Season 1 release, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment and developer Supertrick Games have implemented its Phase Three today which will run through January 11. The update debuts the cold-blooded and maniacal Cryptid Yeti seeking to hunt down players, several weapon variants, and two new arena Units that "are more than double the size of normal Units."
We can't say much about how the Yeti performs in-game from the press release, but Supertrick elaborates that Yeti has one goal: to rip players "limb from limb."
Players can beef up their arsenal to face the Yeti and other adversaries with the new weapon variants for the Machete, Katana, Hammer, Arms, Buzzsaw, and Twin Knives. Unlike the others, the "Bloody Sakura" Katana performs differently now, allowing players to break enemy shields. We have some images below that display their new looks:
The two new arena Units have a greater sense of verticality, twisting pathways, and obstacles players will encounter. These Units, "Splatter Mountain" and "Meteor Valley," are the biggest the game has seen yet. The former is a mountainous terrain with a jungle arena, and the latter pits players against each other on vast stretches of treacherous land.
Players can also purchase two new cosmetic bundles, the "Deep Forest Bundle" and "High Steam Bundle," to style their character. If you're aiming to play Phase Three today, let us know how frightening the Yeti is in-game!
