Developer Snail Announces A New Social Deduction Game, Zombie Within

Just in time for Halloween, Snail has teamed up with the developer of the Wild West social deduction game West Hunt on another social deduction game – this time with zombies.

Titled Zombie Within, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic survivor camp. Players must try to protect humanity from the spread of the zombie plague. The problem is that there are undercover zombies in the camp doing their best to spread the virus.

Zombie Within is designed for one to six players and mixes horror with strategy. As with any social deduction game, some players will take on the role of survivors, while others take on the role of imposters – or zombies. Survivors must protect the population, repair the camp, and most importantly, catch the zombies. The zombies, on the other hand, will do everything they can to make sure humanity doesn’t survive.

Unfortunately, while the game was announced in time for Halloween, we won’t be able to play it during the spooky season. It will be launching on Steam in early access in early 2024.
