The team is also preparing for the return of TennoCon as an in-person event.
Warframe has a lot going on right now. Not only is the looter game celebrating its 10th anniversary, but the team at Digital Extremes is also preparing for a return to the in-person format for the annual Tennocon event. In honor of the big one-oh, the Warframe team hosted a special livestream today taking a look back on the past decade. They’ve also offered a preview of what’s to come throughout the year and announced bi-weekly in-game rewards that will begin this week. The team also used the stream to announce that physical ticket sales for TennoCon 2023 will launch on April 5.
As mentioned, Digital Extremes is celebrating the game’s anniversary with in-game rewards. These bi-weekly rewards will start rolling out on March 24 and will last until June 2. They’ll include new and returning login rewards like Dex Skins, Armor, Weapons, and more. In addition, Varzia’s shop will also feature special discounts.
On the TennoCon front, the event will take place on August 26 in London, Ontario Canada. This is its first time being held in person in three years and Digital Extremes expects thousands of players to come together for it. Those wanting to be among those thousands will need to be prepared to buy tickets beginning April 5 at 2 p.m. Eastern time. Purchases will be made via the TennoCon site.
