Epic Chess Taking Sign-ups For Closed Beta
If you need another auto-chess game in your life, PATHFINDER8 and Glohow's Epic Chess is just about ready for prime time. The upcoming free-to-play game offers most of what you'd expect -- heroes to deploy and watch fight, progression to make them more powerful, and PvP action -- as well as what looks like a co-op 4v4 team mode.
A closed beta for the game is scheduled for April 8-13, and you can sign up now on the Epic Chess website and hope to get picked. Progress from the beta will be reset at early access launch (currently slated for Q2), but testers will receive an exclusive profile and picture frame, and if you make it to level 30, you'll get the battle pass in early access.
