EverQuest II's New Launches New Legends And Lore Server, Kael Drakkel
Auto-scaling keeps early content challenging, and there are 1,800 achievements to strive for.
EverQuest II players with an All Access membership have a new Lore and Legend server to explore today. Kael Drakkel includes the first seven expansions for EQ2, with a number of features meant to get players right into the action and play the long-running MMORPG in a totally new way.
All characters on Kael Drakkel start at level 90, with a base set of gear and Adept spells, as well as 300 alternate advancement points. All content up to and including 2011's Destiny of Velious, including 1.0 epic quests, is included. Early-game content won't be a cakewalk, though; a mentoring system is in place that will auto-scale you to an appropriate level for each zone.
All that content should give you plenty of chances to accumulate the 1,800(!) achievements that are available, each awarding a certain number of points -- and you can compare how you're progressing as compared to other players on server-wide leaderboards. The points also will also earn you currency you can spend at a special achievements vendor.
Learn more about the new Kael Drakkel Legends and Lore server on the EverQuest II site.
