Face Off Against The Leader Of The Unbound In Final Fantasy XIV’s Latest Update And Get The Most Ridiculous Emote
The update also kicks off Crystalline Conflict’s thirteenth season.
Today, Square Enix dropped patch 7.16 in Final Fantasy XIV. The bulk of the patch is PvP-focused with adjustments to actions for several of the jobs as well as the kickoff of Crystalline Conflict’s Season Thirteen. Of course, that means the ending of Season Twelve and the distribution of rewards for the top 300 ranking players from each data center. If you fall into that category, you’ll want to check your moogle mail. Those who finished in the Bronze tier or higher will also receive rewards. These must be picked up in the Wolves’ Den.
The other important bit of content being added to the MMORPG in this update is the master role quest series wrapping up the Unbound storyline. To pick up these quests, players will not only need to have completed the Dawntrail storyline, but also each of the five role quests available in Tuliyollal. If you have that taken care of, just head to Tuliyollal and grab the “Picking Up the Torch” quest. Once you’ve completed the content, you’ll walk away with a new orchestrion roll and what may be the silliest emote in the game. Yes, I’m including the Manderville emotes in that.
