“Major Visual Overhaul” Coming To Albion Online In April
The Radiant Wilds update will also introduce new content.

Albion Online is about to get a glow-up. Today, Sandbox Interactive announced the free-to-play MMORPG’s next update, “Radiant Wilds”, will launch on April 13. Aside from introducing new content to the game, it will also bring performance improvements and new features. A big highlight of the update is a visual overhaul that will include improved lighting, changes to coloring and contrast, and new visual textures. Apparently, this all comes “with no increase to required specs”. So. Great news for players.
As for new features, an Armory that uses player data to recommend builds for the game’s various modes is being introduced. Players can also look forward to a new 1v1 version of the existing 5v5 Arena. This is intended to get players used to PvP without having to lose gear. Also being introduced is enhanced controller support as well as various performance improvements. A full rundown of the update’s new features can be found on the Albion Online site.
