Fallout 76’s Mothman Is Getting His Very Own Event In December
But before that, there’s some some things to do this Thanksgiving weekend.
If you know anything about Fallout 76, you probably know that there seems to be more pictures of everyone’s favorite red-eyed cryptid than anything else in the game. Everyone loves the Mothman, especially the game’s Mothman Cult who are planning a ritual to summon the creature to Point Pleasant. This is the focus of “The Mothman Equinox” seasonal event coming in December.
The event is part of the Night of the Moth update, which also implements some quality of life changes – like nearby corpse looting. It also brings Season 6 to a close, which is why Bethesda has some Thanksgiving weekend events planned. Beginning November 23, the developers are adding bonus Weekly Challenges to help players rank up. They’re also offering players a way to fatten their Caps Purses with the Caps-A-Plenty event or double their Legendary Scrip with Scrip Surplus. Basically, there are ways for you to make a bit of extra in-game scratch this weekend.
The Night of the Moth update is scheduled to arrive on December 8. Although, if you’re a PC player, you can check it out now on the PTS. If you’re not on PC, just watch this dev video instead.
