Nexon has announced that the final closed beta test for its upcoming side-scrolling MOBA, Hyper Universe will kick off on April 20. The test will last for five days, ending on the 24th.

No official date has been revealed for the Open beta, nor has there been any word on availability in the west. However, signups for the Korean beta are available on the site.

  1. First of all, why are there power rangers in this game? And why do they waste this game by making it a moba, this would make a great mmorpg. I also think the age of mobas is slowly ending, sure LoL and Dota are still big but there is just no niche market like there was for smaller mmorpgs in my opinion.

    • The niche market for mmorpgs is now pretty crowded with sandbox/sandpark games.

      There is still room for niche alternative Mobas that don’t use the standard formula.

  2. With it’s face paced intense combat and uniqueness it would probably be able to make me switch to this from LoL, and probably many others, but we can only dream about games like these being released here….

    • wow i would definitely play this, and i thought koreas 3d approach to league was awesome.. i didn’t expect it to look this good, this is marvelous!
