2D MMORPG WonderKing Is Making A Second Go Of It, Announced Return
If you like MapleStory, you’ll probably want to give it a try.
Here’s some unexpected news. A MapleStory competitor that’s been gone for over a decade is coming back. WonderKing, a F2P 2D anime-style MMORPG, launched in the West in 2010. It spent about two years in action (5 years in South Korea) before ultimately shuttering in 2012. No one’s heard a peep from it since.
Now, (according to a report from MassivelyOP), the game is returning after being returned to the original developer. That’s potentially great news for fans of this style of MMO looking for something new to do.
The developer announced the game’s return with a new trailer about a week ago. The trailer does not include a launch date.
