The War of the Spark has begun in Magic: The Gathering, with pre-release tournaments for the expansion going on this weekend in game stores around the world and the set going live in Magic: The Gathering Arena. Billed as "the most ambitious Magic: The Gathering card set ever," War of the Spark adds a whopping 36 new Planeswalker cards and "a cinematic story experience unlike anything Magic fans have seen before."

You can get three free packs for the expansion with the code "PlayWarSpark," and if you participate in an officially sanctioned pre-release event, you'll get (physical product) six booster packs, one foil planeswalker and one foil rare/mythic rare, a spindown life counter, and a deck box. You'll also receive promo code for one draft event for MTG Arena.

To learn more about War of the Spark, visit the Magic: The Gathering site.
