Genshin Impact Fishing Event

Genshin Impact players should be used to the new fishing system by now, so it’s probably as good a time as any for miHoYo to drop the “Lunar Realm” fishing event. The event goes live tomorrow and will offer players unique rewards for completing various activities, including special fishing training. As with previous in-game events, Lunar Realm will unlock in phases over the next seven days but you have 10 days to complete it.

To participate, players will need to have completed the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan” and the “Exploding Population” quest available in Mondstadt. They’ll also need to be at least Adventure Rank 30 and have the Serenitea Pot unlocked. That probably describes everyone currently playing and if it does describe you, then you’re good to help Kujirai Momiji look for the Lunar Leviathan.

The fishing challenges will be marked out on the world map as little fish icons so you’ll need to keep an eye out for them to be able to complete the event. As they progress, players will uncover the mystery of the Lunar Leviathan. Once that’s done, they can then use a special bait to catch mysterious ornamental fish. We have no idea what kind of fish those are but we do know they will only appear at specific times and the types vary based on where they’re caught.

On a side note, completely related to Genshin Impact fishing, while looking for an image to use in this post, I stumbled across a forum post by someone who’s come up with a real-life recipe for Squirrel Fish so, here you go.
