Heroes of the Storm Patch Notes January 17 2024

If you missed our 2024 predictions list, I predicted that Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm would be brought back from the dead this year. While one little set of patch notes does not a life make, this is the third time the MOBA has been updated in the past few months. We're not ready to call it back from the dead yet, but there is a spark of life that cannot be ignored.

The Heroes of the Storm patch notes for this month give us some changes coming to the PTR, including Lili's Jug of 1,000 Cups getting buffed, as is Medivh's Mage Armor. Nova is getting more mana regen during Advanced Cloaking, and her Anti-Armor shells duration is being increased by 2 seconds.

There are also a ton of bug fixes included in the patch notes, and several Heroes are getting fixes or adjustments to their abilities.

You can check out the full patch notes over on the official Heroes of the Storm site, and here's to hoping this is a sign of good things to come.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made. This case has been settled for $54 million.
