Ready for another Heroes of the Storm trailer? Of course you are!

In today’s visual treat, titled “The Calling,” Game Director Dustin Browder talks up the launch livestream that’s coming June 1 at 8:30 p.m. London time — that’s 3:30 p.m. Eastern and 12:30 p.m. Pacific — that promises to deliver developer insights, the new trailer for Johanna the Crusader, a shield-bearing maiden, and a live performance by French pop music star Madeon.

So yeah, it’s really more of an ad than a trailer, but if you’re a Heroes of the Storm fanatic, it’s probably got you properly amped up. Blizzard’s even launched a new site that gives you a chance to be seen on the site and featured in the celebration. Game on!

  1. Technically….

Blizzard was the first one that created the MOBA craze with Warcraft 3 mod (Defend of the Ancient)

Which than was taken by other companies because Blizzard can’t really own player’s titles or game design as they never had it in their TOS.

In turn, some companies fails, and others rise.

Such as the DOTA and LoL, which made MOBA a success and the rise of MOBA start to born and is now branded as “e-sport”.

In fact, if no one ever made DotA in Warcraft 3, MOBA would probably never have been born.
So before you bash Blizzard about anything, you should thank them for creating the game genre in the first place.

Tho this is not saying their own games will be good or bad… that depends on how they’re developing the game and how enjoyable it becomes.

  2. blizshit, shame on u, haw can make so shit looking game its not 90ties today, there is nothing new, copy paste from hundreds of existing mobas, unplayable controls, another clone for nerds who live in game and think to win cash in contests.

  3. Liked it first but it turned out to be too casual even for casuals like i am.
The character prices were kinda forcing u into buying them with money, even more if u wanted to buy the special skins at max level (was around 10k a few months ago).
    Lots of potential wasted imo.

  4. They started to sell costume when the game was on closed beta. I’m Dota 2 fan but I gotta admit LOL look nicer than this shit.
