Hunt Showdown Devil's Moon

Hunt: Showdown has launched its latest live event on PC and consoles today called the "Devil's Moon." It debuts a wildcard map condition known as "The Inferno," two new Legendary Hunters, a unique storyline, a weekly challenge system, and plenty more.

As the Devil's Moon rises, players must pledge their Hunters to a pact. Doing so will offer various benefits while they gain Event Points through matches, slowly earning enough to unlock exclusive rewards. Meanwhile, players will experience a 15-chapter story of the live event. But the event won't be as easy as it sounds.

The Inferno

Crytek added The Inferno feature to spice things up in the bayou. It randomly adds scorching flames on all maps during different times of the day, introducing another level of danger as players navigate burning environments to locate objectives. Plus, there is a new challenge system rewarding Event Points and rotating weekly to keep things fresh.

The two Legendary Hunters - "Ochenkov's Widow" and the "False Saint" - are rewards from the new Battle Pass with 51 levels. Some of the other prizes are two Weapon Charms, five weapons, seven Blood Bond prizes, ten Legendary Weapon Skins, and seven custom ammo types. Launching today with Devil's Moon is the new "Frau Perchta" DLC that brings another Legendary Hunter with a round of new weapons.
