"Open Handed, Skill-Based" CCG Temperia: Soul Of Majestic Early Access Feels Like An Amped Up Triple Triad Variant

A new card game has been added to the list of free-to-play offerings on Steam. This one, titled Temperia: Soul of the Majestic, is an offering from Italian developers MoonWolf Entertainment and A2 Softworks via the publisher Leonardo Interactive. It’s an interesting mix of mechanics from well-known games. These include Tic-Tac-Toe, chess, and even a little Triple Triad, so it’s not just a card game, it’s a strategy board game.

Of course, like many card games, it does feature different cards featuring creatures, equipment, powers, and ore that will help determine the outcome of a match. Skill is also required. The game combines two decks into one – made up of 20 creature cards and 20 equipment cards, so players are going to really need to hone their skills.
