Italy Joins The Fight In World Of Warships: Legends’ Next Update
Enjoy cross-platform divisions, a Lunar New Year event, and more.
World of Warships: Legends’ first update of 2022 is here and it is packed with new content, returning events, and a third Azur Lane crossover. The big headliner for the update is the arrival of the new Tier III – Tier VII Italian ships. Five of these ships are available with the Tier III-VI ships already having been included in dedicated crates during Early Access. The Tier VIII Vittorio Veneto is specific to the update. There will also be two new ships joining the Regia Marina; a Roma battleship and a new Gorizia cruiser.
Of course, there's more than just ships in this update. First up, the Pride of Prussia five-week campaign offers players the opportunity to get their hands on a Brandenburg armored German battleship. In addition, Lunar New Year-themed items have been added. These include the new Tier V Huanghe Pan-Asian Premium cruiser and the returning Tier VII Loyang. Both have optional festive appearances.
For those who enjoyed the previous Azur Lane crossovers, it’s back. This time it adds six new officers based on Azur Lane characters to the game as well as corresponding ships. The officers include Littorio of the Sardegna Empire, Aurora for North Parliament, three officers for Sakura Empire, and an officer of the Eagle Union. The ships are the USN cruiser Montpelier, Japanese destroyer Yukikaze, and Soviet cruiser Aurora.
Also available today is cross-platform play in divisions. This allows up to three players across PlayStation and Xbox to play together. It also allows players to add friends on other platforms to their friends list.
